dTHS Dancers Excel at Nation's Largest Competition
So excited to share that this past weekend in Anaheim, de Toledo’s Competitive Dance Team took part in the Showstopper Dance Championships (the largest dance competition in the country) and absolutely rocked!!!
Our team’s awards included:
* Frosh-Soph – 1st in category - Teen Performance Division Contemporary
* Frosh-Soph – 1st in category – Teen Performance Division Hip-Hop
* Eleanor S. (‘27) – 4th in Contemporary category - 8th overall Teen Advanced Division
* Mia M. (‘26) – 3rd in Contemporary category - 8th overall Senior Advanced Division
* Ella B. (‘25) – 4th in category – Senior Advanced Division Contemporary
* Madalyn K. (‘25) – 7th in category – Senior Advanced Division Contemporary
* Varsity Trio (Elle, Juliet, Amber) – 2nd in category – Senior Advanced Division Contemporary
* Mia D. (‘27) – 2nd in category – Teen Advanced Division Hip-Hop
* Amber K. (‘24) – 1st in category – Senior Advanced Division Open
* Varsity – 1st in category –Senior Advanced Division Open

Overall, our superb Dance Team received one double platinum award (Mia M., ‘26), ten platinum awards, and one gold award. This qualifies us to go to the Showstopper National Finals!!!
