Tuition

When compared to other independent schools in Los Angeles, de Toledo intentionally keeps tuition as competitive as possible so that we can maximize affordability for the families and communities we serve.

Alongside tuition, there are supplemental fees for items including, but not limited to, our All-School Shabbaton retreat, Parent Organization dues, yearbook, and safety & emergency preparedness needs. The 12th grade fee also includes graduation costs. These fees do not include bus transportation, textbooks that families purchase directly from the supplier, athletic uniforms, school dances or other social gatherings, and certain optional field trips.

Tuition Assistance

The Board of Directors of de Toledo High School (dTHS) is committed to providing tuition assistance to families who demonstrate financial need. We are proud that this program enables many students to attend dTHS who might not otherwise be able to do so.

All information provided in the Tuition Assistance application is confidential and is not shared with anyone other than the dTHS Tuition Assistance Committee or agencies from which dTHS receives grants. These agencies guarantee that all data remains confidential and only used for the specific tuition assistance grants awarded to dTHS.

dTHS greatly appreciates the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, the Jim Joseph Foundation, the Builders of Jewish Education (BJE), as well as other donors who financially support our tuition assistance program.

Located in the San Fernando Valley portion of the City of Los Angeles in Northern Los Angeles County. de Toledo High School is accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS), the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and Builders of Jewish Education (BJE,) and financially supported by the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and the Jim Joseph Foundation.
