Signature Programs
Speech and Debate
Students have the opportunity to compete in local, state, and national tournaments in a wide variety of categories, from Public Forum debate to Original Oratory. Many of our Speech and Debate participants have won high honors at championship high school competitions. Students approach current-event topics through the Jewish textual lens as they analyze, craft, and deliver speeches and engage in debate.
Located in the San Fernando Valley portion of the City of Los Angeles in Northern Los Angeles County. de Toledo High School is accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS), the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and Builders of Jewish Education (BJE,) and financially supported by the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and the Jim Joseph Foundation.
