Boys Varsity Basketball

Under the direction of Coach Motti Meisels, the 2015-16 edition of varsity basketball tied the school record for wins with 20 and made the past year a banner season. Beginning in November, Jaguar basketball took home the Memphis, Tennesee Cooper Invitational   Tier II Title where Michael Stavinsky was selected MVP of Tier II. In the fall Shalhevet Tournament, Daniel Rodnusky won the Steve Glouberman Award of Excellence.  In December, the Jags won the World Youth Basketball Tournament Division B Title in Hawaii.   After another de Toledo team selection to the CIF-SS Playoffs, Ezra Emanuel received All Liberty League honors as well as the team Co-Most Valuable Player award along with Etai Bernstein. For the upcoming 2016-17 season, Coach Motti Meisels will be taking a sabbatical year off and will be handing the reigns over to Alvin Castro.

in the CIF Southern Section Division 5A for the first time in the school’s young history. The team is also ranked #11 in the California State Division 5 standings.
Independence League Champion – 2015

Boys Junior Varsity & Frosh/Soph Basketball 

The JV Jags finished in a tie for first place in the Independence League.  Receiving team honors as the Most Valuable Player was Dylan Bender.  Offensive Player of the Year honors went to Nadiv Lev while Defensive Player of the Year honors went to Matt Levin.

The Frosh Soph was considered by many to be the best Frosh Soph team in Jaguar history.  Most Valuable Honors went to Michael Altschul.
